Professional golfers, club pros, and amateurs gather on the greens of the Pueblo del Sol Country Club each year for this exciting event that attracts people from across the Southwest and beyond. It opens with a Sponsor’s Pro-Am Scramble on the Friday of the event, which is followed by a 36-hole stroke play tournament later in the weekend. The tournament has Gross, Net, and Professional flights. The public comes out to watch the golfers in action throughout the events.

Registering to Play

Amateur golfers who wish to take part in the Sierra Vista Open can register online to play during their chosen event. Those who wish to pay by mail for registration can download a form to complete and submit. For amateurs, there is a flighted Net division, but amateurs are also welcome to compete in the Gross flight alongside the professional players. Many talented locals take the chance to play alongside the pros.
